AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR INTRO TO PANTO SCHOOL'S TOUR
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre have announced today the return of the hugely popular Intro To Panto tour, a Theatre in Education platform produced by the Grand. Each year, the tour visits around 20 primary schools, bringing the magic of theatre to thousands of children all over the West Midlands.
The tour consists of a 30 minute interactive workshop led by four performers and the Grand Theatre’s regular Panto Dame, Ian Adams. It is followed by a 50 minute performance of Cinderella. The tour runs for two weeks in October, preceded by a week of rehearsals. For 2021, rehearsals begin on Monday 4 and performances are weekdays from Friday 9 – Friday 22 October.
There is an opportunity for two local or Wolverhampton-based performers to join the experienced cast and The Grand is seeking two energetic, warm, vibrant professional female identifying actors who can sing to play the Prince and Cinderella.
Castings will be held on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 August 2021, the casting breakdown is currently live on Spotlight, and for those professional performers who do not currently have Agent representation, CV’s can be sent to casting@grandtheatre.co.uk
