Grand Theatre Ambassador Peter Chand is back, performing in Wolverhampton as part of this years Literature Festival!

In this event, Peter brings to life a mouth-watering mixture of some of his favourite tales for adult listeners. Giving you a wild, poetic, and insightful taste of traditional stories from the subcontinent. Stories that have been collected over twenty years from families in India and here in the Midlands. Come hear from the beautiful Jayamala who sobs daily at the edge of the river, to Yama, the god of Death, who took a bride that terrified everyone – even himself.

Peter Chand is an award-winning storyteller who has performed and led training workshops all across Britain and as far afield as Canada, Singapore, Greece, India, and many parts of Europe.
