Terms and Conditions

- Operator: The operator of this Prize Draw (“Draw”) is Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, Lichfield St, Wolverhampton, WV1 1DE (“the Grand”).
- Eligibility: This Draw is open to all UK residents (excl. Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over. Employees of Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members as Employees are not eligible to participate in the Draw. The Draw is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Agreement to Terms: By participating, the contestant (the “Contestant”, “You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Terms and conditions, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements set out in Section 2 above. You agree to accept the decisions of the Grand as final and binding in relation to the Draw.
- Draw Period: All entries must be submitted between 13:45 on Wed 30 Oct and Thu 31 Oct at 23:59. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
- How to enter: The Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. All entries must be submitted by commenting on the Grand’s Instagram or Facebook post telling us the one person you’d like to bring with you. The entry must fulfil all Draw requirements as specified to be eligible to win a Prize. You may not enter more times that indicated in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Grand.
- Prizes: There will be one winner of the Draw. The Winner will receive two tickets to Bat Out Of Hell at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre on Fri 18 Jul, 7.30pm and a drink each on arrival, a pre-show dining voucher for two at Lupo Lounge in Wolverhampton City Centre to the value of £50.00, and single day admission for two to Dudley Zoo (valid until 31/10/2025, excl. Bank Holidays). The specifics of each Prize shall be solely determined by the Grand (incl. the choice and date of the performance, although the Grand will endeavour to take account of the Winner’s preferences if supplied). The Grand cannot guarantee that Prize tickets will be for theatre seats situated immediately adjacent to each other, although the Grand will use all reasonable endeavours to secure such seats. The Grand cannot guarantee that the tickets will be for particular performances on particular dates, and You acknowledge that this is subject to availability. The Prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses (incl. but not limited to food and drink or travel and accommodation) shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of the Prize or transfer/assignment of the Prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the Winner is permitted. Where the Winner’s companion is aged 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the Winner when taking up the Prize. Anyone under the age of 3 years of age will not be admitted. Everyone entering the theatre will require a ticket.
- Winner selection and notification: The Winner will be selected by a random draw using a computer-generated randomised selection process under the supervision of the Grand from the entries via the Grand’s specified Instagram or Facebook post. The Winner will be notified by Direct Message using the details provided at entry no later than 13:00 on Fri 1 Nov. The Grand shall have no liability for the Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk or privacy settings that prohibit contact. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible or fails to claim the Prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Following notification, the Grand will correspond with the Winner to agree the date the Prize can be collected (although final decision will be at the Grand’s sole discretion). This point will be as agreed between the Winner and the Grand. Receipt by the Winner of the Prize offered in this Draw by the Winner is conditional upon compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Any violation of these rules by a Winner (at the Grand’s sole discretion) will result in the Winner’s disqualification as Winner of the Draw, and all privileges as Winner will be immediately terminated.
- Cancellation: The Grand reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Grand’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Draw. In such case, the Grand may select a Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by the Grand. The Grand reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Draw or website or violates these Terms and Conditions. The Grand reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Draw, to void any Contestant’s entry form where it has reason to believe the Contestant has violated the rules, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses, social media accounts, or use of bots, macros, scripts, or any other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website, social media account, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Draw may be a breach of applicable law. Should such an attempt be made, the Grand reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

- The Grand must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Grand will send the surname and county of the winner, and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries to anyone who writes to the address set out in Section 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the closing date of the competition. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Grand here: https://www.grandtheatre.co.uk/contact-us/. In such circumstances, the Grand must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
