The Grand Theatre’s Fundraising Golf Day will give you the chance to network and promote your business over a round of golf on one of the area’s finest courses, as well as support our fantastic charitable work.

The money that we raise will be used to support a range of theatre projects, including sending our teams into the community with the “Intro to Panto” workshops where we bring the delight of theatre to those who aren’t always fortunate enough to be able to come and visit us.

Founded in 1892, South Staffs is one of the oldest private-member clubs anywhere. Now owned by its members who manage it for their benefit and enjoyment, it remains a welcoming club with participants drawn from all walks of life.

With a course layout designed by the legendary Harry Vardon, and now home to the Peter Baker Golf Academy, it’s a first-class golfing venue with quality facilities to match. Located close the Staffordshire and Shropshire borders, South Staffs is a stunning parkland course noted for its tree-lined fairways and fast, true greens. Set in 160 acres, the 6587-yard par 71 course weaves its way through a series of varied and challenging holes, including at least six par 4s over 400 yards long from the medal tees. These demand a mix of skill and imagination.

  • Arrival refreshments
  • 2-course dinner after play
